Welcome to our online shop, The Bees Knees, where every picture tells a story

We are Lindsay and Laura, a creative team of artist and entrepreneur who share a love of the African bush and are in awe of the amazing diversity and beauty of its flora and fauna. In our shop you will find Lindsay’s designs available as quality prints to hang on your wall, on fabric and paper for beautiful tableware and cushions, and on stationery items such as notebooks, cards and stickers.

Every picture tells a story

I love creating pictures that tell a story; whether it’s about the beautiful flowers of the unique fynbos of the South African Cape and the flashy little sunbirds that visit them or the magnificence of the towering trees of the Zambezi valley and the animals that live among them. As you browse through our shop you will encounter fantastical sausage trees, frilly bauhinias, colourful turacos, carmine bee-eaters, flashy little sunbirds, fiery-necked nightjars, shy tortoises, ghost frogs, lucky beans, proteas and pincushions and all manner of wonderful creatures and plants that we so fortunate to share our world with.
