Zebras and Baobabs – the stuff of legends and myths! Why Zebras have stripes is still a bit of a mystery and theories vary from camouflage to insect-repellent, but whatever the reason, no two animals have the same pattern. The extraordinarily long-lived Baobab, said to be planted upside down by the gods, has a variety of uses; mats and rope are made from the bark, the seeds provide refreshing snacks and shelter can be found inside the hollow trunk of old trees.
